BAS JAN: The making of 'Baby U Know'

This short film tracks London based band BAS JAN as they were recording their fantastic second album ‘Baby U Know’, which is out now via Lost Map Records.

It was shot on location at Cafe OTO, London amidst a backdrop of great uncertainty. The live footage comes from their performance on 25th February at Cobalt Studios, Newcastle.

BAS JAN are Serafina Steer, Emma Smith, Charlie Stock and Rachel Horwood. With multiple projects amongst them, their brand of Post Punk inflected Pop is unique in setup. It’s also endlessly creative and in equal parts intricate and catchy. Taking in elements of Folk, Indie Rock, Disco, Punk and electronic abstractions, there’s so much to love about this band.
